Celebrate Canberra's Bike Riding Community with pedal Power ACT 

Canberra’s celebration of cycling returns to the shores of Lake Burley Griffin for Pedal Power ACT's nineteenth annual event on Sunday 18 February.

Many hundreds of people are expected to join the festivities, with rides to suit all levels of skill and experience, and free family friendly activities and delicious food and drink at our event hub on Rond Terrace from 10 am until 2 pm. Rides kick off from 6:45 am with the free family friendly ride starting at 9:30 am.

For the first time all riders will receive a medal!

Register at the event hub on Saturday from 12  - 4 pm and on Sunday  from 6 am. Registrations close 15 minutes prior to the start of each ride. Online registration is now closed.

The event is proud to support the Amy Gillett Foundation as the official charity partner for the 2018 Ride.

The Big Canberra Bike Ride is organised by Pedal Power ACT to provide a safe and enjoyable day for people of all abilities and ages to celebrate bike riding in Canberra.
